You could call this an obsession…
Ok, I’ll admit it. I like The Pioneer Woman.
Ok, I really like her.
Ok, ok, I guess you could call it love.
I don’t know what it is. The delicious recipes, the amazing step-by-step photos, the funny recipe commentary.
I just love her.
Lately, I’ve been using her recipes for pretty much everything. And they’ve all been good.
Here is a collection of everything I’ve tried:
Pineapple Zucchini Sheet Cake w/Cream Cheese Frosting - so, so, so good!
Phyllo Mushroom Bundles - amazing, and you can add grilled onions too
Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Thingies - so fattening, but oh, so good
Tres Leches Cake - this was a crowd pleaser. I made a coconut version with coconut milk instead of evaporated milk – it was amazing.
Blackberries with Sweet Cream - probably one of my favorites. So rich & decadent.
Coffee Cake. Literally. - My new favorite cake. Attention coffee lovers!
Cajun Chicken Pasta - this is now part of my standard dishes – delicious and simple.
Tom’s Trinidadian Chicken Curry - this was my first PW recipe – yummy.
Hot & Sweet Drumsticks - this sauce is good on anything – especially on grilled chicken.
Chicken Tikka Masala - I’ve made this 5 times and loved every drop every time.
Chicken Scallopine - mmmmm.
Can you see that I have a problem? My husband just assumes that everything I make is from the Pioneer Woman. I don’t even look for recipes anywhere else.
Eventually, my plan is to try all the ones on the website and then I’ll have to move on to her book!
I better go, the Pineapple Zucchini Cake is calling me from the kitchen…

ok we're going to try some of these they just sound so yummy!
I have been wanting to try her Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Thingies but I don't have the right pan for it. I'm thinking maybe we could try them on the grill.
I don't think I love the Pinoneer Woman quite as much as you do, but she is great….. and hilarious!
